Our Club
Club History
The club was founded in the mid sixties as the Lake Simcoe Railway Modelers. Since then the club has built and dismantled several layouts in both HO and N scale at several locations in Barrie. In 1989 the club commenced construction on our Lake Simcoe Railway portable HO Layout. In 1991 the clubs name was changed to the Barrie-Allandale Railway Modelers to reflect the geographic location of the club.

The Friendly Club
Our club is a meeting place for railway modelers and others interested in model railways a. We have an opportunity to meet and share our enthusiasm with like minded individuals. Those who wish to can work on or operate our HO Layouts. Our goal is to promote the hobby of railway modeling and trains .

We meet every Tuesday at 6:30 pm in the old General Electric building on Bradford Street here in Barrie..
